Course Overview

This course is designed for students specifically seeking an air brake endorsement. The air brake endorsement process involves two components: a knowledge test and a practical test. Prior to attending the course, participants must complete the written knowledge exam through an SGI testing office. The course itself covers essential in-class knowledge, providing a demonstration of the air system using an air board. Moreover, participants gain practical hands-on experience in the truck, effectively preparing them for the practical test.

Included in the tuition fee is one exam, with the practical exam typically scheduled within one to two days after the course concludes. Should students require a second test, additional charges for the exam and equipment usage will be applicable. The testing procedures are conducted on the last day of the course, ensuring a streamlined and comprehensive learning experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

This specific document, often referred to as the air paper, serves as conclusive proof that you have taken and successfully passed the knowledge test administered by the SGI driver examination office.
Only the driving examination office can hand this out. An Issuer office will not be able to provide these.
The school cannot schedule the practical exam until the air paper, which serves as proof of the successful completion of the knowledge test with the SGI driver examination office, is obtained. This process facilitates a smoother arrangement for the student, allowing for easier scheduling and coordination of the practical testing phase once the knowledge test is successfully completed.
